  • Cammy Resnick Memorial Scholarship

Cammy Resnick was a camper from 2005-2016 and a counselor from 2018-2020 at Camp Birchwood. Cammy’s gift of honest friendship and genuine companionship was cultivated at the water’s edge of Steamboat Lake. At camp, from child to young adult, Cammy was a light to all she met, whether for just a moment or for many summers and beyond. Because of her infectious smile, quick wit, and open arms accepting all, she provided strength and friendship to those around her. Let her legacy live by allowing others to experience the gift of summer camp at Camp Birchwood. This scholarship is granted based upon collaboration with the Resnick Family.

Try New Things.

Please consider donating to our Scholarship fund so others can experience the awesomeness of Birchwood.

It all begins with a thought to try something different. At Birchwood, every day is an opportunity to do something you’d never do back home. You extend yourself beyond your comfort zone. Your character builds. You learn you really can do anything, when you’re willing to try and not give up. You become resilient through persistence, with an improved ability to overcome adversity. A passion is cultivated to do new things and become a better you.

Those small choices to do new things grow into lifelong passions and hobbies that carry our alums through good times and bad. We hear these stories all the time!

Our mission is to for campers to gain independence and improve self-confidence through new experiences and decision-making opportunities. Birchwood has a long history of offering reduced-tuition scholarships to families that may not have the resources to send their child to camp– often with the help of donors like you. With your help, we can continue offering the Birchwood magic to kids from all walks of life. Each and every tax-deductible donation goes solely to the cost of tuition for our campers who qualify for financial aid. Please consider making a contribution today to help us further this mission.
